Meet Clare Rolquin

MSW, LCSW-A, LCAS

Supporting Children, Teenagers, and Adults in North Carolina

You might find yourself struggling through school, overwhelmed by life stressors, or grappling with how to find yourself again after a traumatic event.

Existing in a dark space can seem exhausting, scary, isolating, and it may feel like things will never return to normal. Whether you have been struggling for a few weeks or years - you don’t have to exist in this space forever. Going to therapy can provide a confidential space to process, challenge negative thoughts, and find invaluable coping skills.

Together, we can work on moving through the heaviness and connect to yourself again.

Hi, I’m Clare

I’m honored to be part of your journey toward healing and growth. My path to becoming a therapist was deeply personal; like many, I’ve faced my own challenges and sought help to find my way through them. Those experiences ignited a passion in me to support others in their own journeys. I became a therapist because I believe in the power of human connection, empathy, and the transformative potential of therapy. Every story matters, and I’m here to help you make sense of yours, to find meaning and direction in your life.

Meet Clare’s Certified Therapy Dog, Molly

Molly is a gentle and intuitive Golden Retriever with a knack for bringing comfort and joy to those around her. Trained to work alongside Clare in therapy work and known for her calm demeanor, she has a special ability to sense and respond to the emotional needs of our clients. Molly’s presence is a wonderful addition to our practice, providing not only companionship but also a soothing influence during sessions. Her friendly nature and affectionate personality make her a cherished member of our team, dedicated to enhancing the therapeutic experience for everyone she meets.

Molly is a certified Therapy Dog through Canines For Service. In her free time, Molly enjoys playing with her frisbee, chewing on Benebones, and getting belly rubs.

Fun fact: Molly will almost always grab something to hold in her mouth whenever she greets you. It’s her way of not knowing how to contain her excitement! It’s also very cute.

My Approach

In our sessions, you’ll find a warm, empathetic, and humorous environment where your story is met with compassion and understanding. I take a client-centered approach, meaning that you are at the heart of our work together and the expert of yourself. My role is to guide and support you, helping you uncover your strengths and navigate your challenges with resilience. We’ll work together to explore what’s been holding you back, whether it’s unhelpful thought patterns, past wounds, or current stressors. Using a blend of cognitive-behavioral techniques, animal-assisted therapy, and exploration of your unique experiences, we’ll work together to create positive, lasting change.

You don’t have to face anxiety, depression, trauma, or life changes on your own.

Humans are naturally wired for connection, but challenges can sometimes lead us to isolate ourselves. Through our work together, you can reconnect with yourself, build confidence, and be ready to navigate life.
